}1. An introduction to satire  - After you read the first section of the article, write 15 lines in your notebook which demonstrates your understanding of satire.

}2. Write a 20 line satire of your own which fits    

  the above ideas that you took from your research (refer to your 15 lines in number 1).

  The two writing assignments (completed) will be checked towards the end of the period.

Homework: Journal Prompt. Choose one of the daily quotes. Write two pages or write one page and collage. Will be checked tomorrow. Quote must be typed in font size 20 and glued to the top of the page. Remember to follow journal specifications.
