Vocab test on words from 80 - 100

}Do Now: Place your notebook on the assigned space for your class. I will check them for your homework assignments and daily quotes. I will return them to you tomorrow. Please put them on the correctly labeled space.

}Tomorrow we will have a writing workshop on constructed responses. Be prepared and ready to write.

}In Julius Ceasar the tribunes/senators are preoccupied with class distinction (the rich versus the common people). From your reading of the play write 7 lines in your notebook on this topic and include the imagery that is used by Casca to describe the crowd.

 Clear desk except for notebook and be prepared during the class reading of “Julius Caesar” to write down examples of foreshadowing.

}Foreshadowing: A device used in literature to create expectation or to set up an explanation of later developments (It is like fortune telling, a prediction of the future).

}Homework: Write 16 lines in your notebook on examples of foreshadowing as seen in “Julius Caesar”. Then skip one line and give an example of an experience that you had when you experienced foreshadowing (Write at lease 8 lines).
